Why wooden boats?
Modern smallcraft come in a variety of materials, and utilize different building techniques. Given the variety of craft built from aluminum or polyethylene (plastic), fiberglass, and kevlar, you might be able to find a craft to fit your needs. However, wood and composite builds offer a superb combination of durability, handling, weight, and aesthetics.

NEW BUILDS
At IndiaWest Craft our new builds focus on personal, non-motorized, smallcraft. Currently, we offer styles including strip-planked canoe and kayaks and traditionally built sailboat, rowboats, and other smallcraft.

REPAIRS and RESTORATION
Before IndiaWest Craft was founded, historical repair and restoration of wooden ships was my bread and butter. If you have a wooden boat that needs some TLC, a little spruce up, or a full overhaul, reach out on our Pricing/Contact page…so we can get you back on the water as soon as possible!
